Join us for week-long experience designed to bring families closer together with renowned therapeutic parenting specialist, Nancy Thomas held at beautiful Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas. (North of Houston)

What is Camp Connect?

Most families with troubled children find that their “problem child” gets all of the attention while the other children get short changed. Camp Connect provides parents the opportunity to not only spend therapeutic time together as a family and each child individually, but to also get quality, respite-provided time, minus the kids.

Parents can relax and experience a fun camp environment with others who share the difficult daily experience of raising traumatized children. As well, parents and children work together as a family, hand-in-hand with Nancy Thomas, to practice her extremely effective techniques, strategies and philosophies on parenting these extra ordinary children.

A specially trained camp staff assists Nancy in providing therapeutic respite to ensure each family leaves rested, rejuvenated and more prepared to face the challenges of every-day life after camp while children leave with a new understanding of themselves, their role in their family and a better, more realistic perspective on life. The goal of camp is to provide the environment, interventions and safety needed for these children to open their hearts and embrace the basic principles of trust, respect, responsibility and honesty.

Due to Nancy's commitment to quality time for each family, the camp enrollment is limited to 15 families.

*NOTE* Camp Attendees not traveling by air will need to bring bedding (twin fitted sheet, twin flat sheet, blankets, pillows or sleeping bags) for each family member. (We have an Awesome Mom who has generated donataions of bedding for our families who are flying in!)
